Court

Prescott Municipal Court represents the judicial branch of government and handles all citations issued by the Prescott Police Department for traffic and non-traffic ordinance violations. The primary function of the Prescott Municipal Court is to administer justice and hold individuals accountable for their actions when found guilty.

The City of Prescott is served by a municipal court that adjudicates all municipal ordinance actions. The actions taken are related to:

  • Traffic Laws
  • Building Code
  • Animal related violations
  • Adopting State Statutes relating to behavior, alcohol and other aspects of the law

Municipal Court Judge

The Municipal Court Judge is Judge Patrick Eich and the Court Clerk is Rashel Temmers. The Judge is an elected position with a four-year term. The judge does not keep regular office hours. However, the Municipal Court Clerk is available from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Monday - Thursday and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.


Payment Options

IN-PERSON: Payments are accepted at the Municipal Court Office. There is a drop box for after hour payments and can be in the form of Cash, Check, or Money Order.  

ONLINE: www.prescottwi.org (City Services, Online Court Payments) then follow prompts.  (Click on the online payment bar at the left of this screen.) 

MAILING: Checks, Money Orders and Cashier’s Checks must be made payable to the Clerk of Court and mailed to:  800 Borner Street, Prescott, WI  54021.   Please DO NOT SEND CASH.                                             

PAYMENT PLAN:  You may set up a payment plan by contacting the Clerk of Court.  A signed payment plan form needs to be on file before the payment plan goes into effect.
