Spring Fling:  Is held 2^nd weekend in May.  This is a fundraiser put on by the fire department to raise money for the firefighter relief fund.  Kids games, chicken dinner, Euchre tournament, and live music is featured.

Prescott Daze:  This community wide event is held the first weekend after Labor Day.  The fire department offers chicken dinners, a Euchre tournament on Saturday, and live music Saturday night.  Area fire departments compete in a water fight Saturday.  The weekend is topped off with a parade on Sunday afternoon.

Fire Prevention Week:  Fire Prevention Week was started in 1922 to commemorate the Great Chicago Fire of Oct 8-9, 1871.  The International Fire Marshals Association decided the anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire would be a good time to inform the public about the importance of fire prevention.  During the week of October 9^th, the Fire department visits the elementary schools to talk about fire safety.  Bi-annually the children get to experience the smoke house; a fire training tool that simulates a smoke filled house.
