Prescott is a great place to live, unfortunately people will not move here due to the astronomically high property taxes. How can we grow as a town with such high taxes? if the it stays high, it forces people out of the town. If it is lowered- there is more incentive to move here. We should by trying to compete with towns like Hastings and Cottage Grove. We have much more to offer but people will continue to choose the neighboring towns for financial reasons (I.e. Taxes Never go away and resale value isn't anywhere near MN)

I just noticed that the flags that are located on both sides of the bridge as you enter Prescott are wore out, tattered and torn. What would it take to get these replaced?

Prescott is a beautiful town! It would be nice to really enjoy it with a good trail system for biking, walking, etc.
