What happens if I am delinquent on my utility bill?
Utility bills are due quarterly on the 20th of the month. A 1% penalty is charged monthly on all delinquent water and fire protection balances. A 1.5% penalty is charged on all sewer, storm water, and trash balances. All utility balances not paid by November 1st will be charged an additional 10% penalty and added to the property tax bill.

Consider this: an average utility bill of $200 that goes unpaid all year ($800/year) adds an extra $150 in penalties. If you are unable to pay your full bill, consider making smaller payments and it will help offset the penalties incurred. You may make a payment to your utility bill at any time, please include the property address and account number. Please call 715-262-5544 for more information.
